About Altitude
Altitude is made by Hanlon Digital LLC, a small software studio in Philadelphia. We build and run our own apps, and Altitude is the tool we wanted for them.
Why we built it
Our card grading app, ZeroPop, lives or dies by where it shows up in App Store search. For months we tracked its keywords with our own scripts. Each run checked where ZeroPop sat in the top 200 results for every phrase. What the scripts did not keep was who sat above us, and that turned out to be the part we cared about most. Altitude keeps all of it.
The tools we tried before that either cost more than a small app earns or needed an afternoon of setup before showing a single number. We wanted something that starts working the moment you paste a link, and costs about the same as a coffee.
What we believe
- It should set itself up. You add your app. We pick the keywords and the competitors and run the first check. You can change anything, but you never have to.
- Numbers should be honest. When Apple does not answer a check, we show that day as unknown. We never turn a failed check into a fake drop, and we never invent search volume we cannot see.
- Small apps deserve good tools. Free covers one app. Pro is $5 a month.
- Your data is yours. We do not sell it, and we do not use your app's numbers to market anyone else.
