Terms of Service
Last updated November 6, 2026
These terms cover your use of Altitude at tryaltitude.app and any Altitude apps (the "service"). The service is provided by Hanlon Digital LLC, a Pennsylvania limited liability company ("we", "us"). By creating an account you agree to these terms.
1. Your account
You need an account to use the service. Give us accurate information, keep your sign in secure, and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. Each account is for one person.
2. Plans and billing
- Free costs nothing and needs no card. Its limits are listed on the pricing page.
- Pro is billed monthly in advance through our payment processor, Stripe. Taxes are added where they apply. Prices can change with at least 30 days notice by email; a change never applies to a month you already paid for.
- You can cancel at any time from your billing page. Pro stays active until the end of the paid month, then the account moves to Free limits.
- Refunds are handled case by case. Email hello@tryaltitude.app.
3. What the service does and does not do
Altitude reads public App Store data, such as search results and listings, to estimate where apps rank. Rankings come from Apple's public search results and may differ from what a person sees on their own device. A check that fails is shown as unknown. We do not guarantee any ranking, download or revenue result.
4. Acceptable use
- Do not resell, scrape or bulk export data from the service.
- Do not try to break, overload, reverse engineer or get around the limits of the service.
- Do not use the service to break Apple's rules or any law.
We may suspend accounts that do these things.
5. Your content and data
You keep ownership of anything you put into the service, such as notes and listing drafts. You give us permission to store and process it only to run the service for you. How we handle personal data is in the Privacy Policy.
6. Our service
The software, design and analysis in Altitude belong to Hanlon Digital LLC. These terms give you the right to use the service, not to copy it. Altitude is not affiliated with or endorsed by Apple. App Store is a trademark of Apple Inc.
7. Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
8. Ending the agreement
You can delete your account at any time. We may end the service for you with notice if you break these terms. If we ever shut Altitude down, we will give at least 30 days notice and a way to export your data.
9. Changes and law
We will email you before material changes take effect. These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
