Head to head on every search
For each competitor you see the searches you lead, the ones they lead, and the gaps: searches where they sit in the top 10 and you do not. One click tracks any of those searches for your own app, and the current result list already holds your rank, so it shows straight away.
Competitors picked for you
When you add your app, Altitude counts which apps sit above you most often across your keywords and follows them. You can follow more by link or by name, and every top 10 has a Follow button for apps you had not noticed. The Overview also lists apps that just entered the top 10 on your keywords.
Their releases and listing changes
Altitude keeps a snapshot of each competitor's public listing whenever it changes. You see new versions with their release notes, renamed apps, rewritten descriptions with the words they added and removed, and new screenshots, next to how their ranks moved.

Questions
Can I see a competitor's App Store keyword field?
No one can; Apple keeps it private. Altitude shows the searches a competitor actually ranks for, which tells you most of what the keyword field would.
Does a competitor know I follow them?
No. Altitude only reads public store pages.
